Welcome to my Bead Blog!

I hope that you’re enjoying my new website. If this past year has taught me anything it’s that I greatly miss engaging with my bead friends. Social media has helped a bit, but I have been longing for my own space where I can gather ideas from and share ideas with other beaders. So while the rest of my website will remain fairly static, save for the addition of new patterns (and videos!!), this is where the dynamic content will be found.

My objective is to use this page as sort of a blog and mailing list all rolled into one. If you wish to receive notifications whenever I make a new post, please subscribe on the sidebar of my blog archive page. Note that subscribing to my blog is not the same as creating an account. I’ve chosen to keep those two functions separate for now.

As a hello and thank you gift, I will be having a sale through the weekend. Please use the code NEW-WEBSITE-25 in your cart or checkout to receive 25% off your order.

The sale has ended. Thanks to everyone who participated!

  1. Hi Julia
I just love your boxes – have made a few now but wish I had more time to make more.
Love the new website. It is much easier to navigate and much prettier too.
    Kind regards

    Janet

  2. Ms. Julia,
Just watched your YouTube videos on knitting with beads, and have to say I feel excitement brewing. I couldn’t figure out how you got the beads on the yarn, and hope there’s an easier way than prefilling beads prior to casting on stitches. But even that wouldn’t dampen my resolve to try.
Thank-you for adding excitement to my crafting. Oh, and for the corrections to my copy of Little Bead Boxes. Printed those just now…starting cat box next.

    Appreciate you! Linda

  3. Hi Julia,
I feel honored to be part of your blog. I have been a fan of your bead boxes since I saw your snowman years ago. Fast forward to now I purchased Little Bead Boxes and made several boxes from the book. I’ve made all the pumpkin boxes and the snowman box.
They are so much fun to make, your instructions are easy to follow.
Thank you for sharing your creativity so that I can have fun making little bead boxes

  4. Hi Julia! I’ve made two pumpkins, but it has been awhile since I’ve beaded another because of an illness. I am finally beading again and I’m working on Mr. Mustache. I do not understand thenterminology (-); Does that mean no bead and just pass through the next bead. I have your book, but I can’t find anything on that.
